Reiki is the name given to an ancient form of natural healing. It means universal life energy. It originated thousands of years ago in ancient Tibet. Dr Mikao Usui from Japan rediscovered Reiki again in the 19th Century.

All living things have energy including humans. Disease or illness is a distortion of a frequency of energy. A way to treat or rebalance this distortion is by introducing a harmonic energy - Reiki.

Reiki restores the body's natural balance and enhances other forms of treatment, both orthodox and complimentary. It allows the individual to accelerate their own recovery by boosting the immune system and energy levels. Reiki practitioners are not healers. Reiki is not given or sent it is drawn through the practitioner who acts as a channel. To practice Reiki no special kind of faith or belief is required. People of many faiths and religions use it with success.
